Our Missions

Shreve United Methodist Church supports missions on a local, national and international level.

We provide financial support to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) which provides emergency assistance in times of crisis to people in the United States.

Missions are a vital part of our ministry at Shreve UMC. Our desire is to fulfill the Great Commission and reach as many people as possible. We realize that we cannot do that on our own, therefore, we actively support a number of domestic and foreign missionaries so that they can take the Word of God around the world.

In conjunction with the monetary support we provide for our missionaries, we also strongly encourage our members to participate in mission trips both locally and in Cuba and Kenya. If you are interested in taking a mission trip and would like to request support, please contact the Mission Committee for more information.

The Shreve UMC Food Pantry is open Wednesdays from 8:30 – 11:00 AM. We provide emergency assistance for local families in need. For more information, contact Peggy Gray at 330-567-2051, ext. 102.
